Tretower Genealogy Research

This site is set up to share with the public the research the Vaughan Pioneers Group is conducting, and, more importantly, point the public toward questions we are trying to answer, in hopes someone will have family information or research that will answer these questions.

Vaughan Pioneers was started in the late 1990s as a way for descendants of William and Fereby (Benton) Vaughan and John and Nancy (Callicott) Vaughan could share their Genealogical research. Since that time the group has expanded their research to other related lines such as the Harps and Todds, as well as looking at the ancient roots of most Vaughan families, in Wales.

We have placed several books on-line — with the permission of the authors– and updated one of them. We are currently very involved with the Vaughan DNA project. Our group has paid for many tests to show a relationship with our Vaughans.
